Furious, Hulu’s newest streaming hit, is the sort of program where the more you think about it, the less sense aspects of it make, and the worse the show seems overall. It can perhaps best be described as a guilty pleasure show masquerading as prestige TV.

DTF St. Louis is a show that I feel pretty mixed about. On one hand, it has some clear positives and aspects of the miniseries that I really enjoy. On the other, the series definitely has some ways in which it’s lacking.

From is a show that seems to be on a slight downward trajectory in terms of quality since its first couple of seasons. It remains totally watchable, but my patience for the show has grown a little bit thin.

Though horror and comedy are fairly popular genre combinations, it’s quite hard to successfully blend the two and create a movie or show that’s both genuinely frightening and, at other times, laugh-out-loud funny. I think that for the first few episodes of Widow’s Bay, the show is able to expertly combine the two.

Having recently watched and enjoyed Season 1 of The Pitt, I was excited to check out this second season. I’m happy to report that this sophomore outing of the medical drama is on par with that initial season in terms of quality. However, there are a few aspects of the show that prevent it from being truly outstanding.
