What is this website all about?

What Jeff Watched is a blog, series of articles, or reviews (you can call it whatever you want) written by Jeff. Topics covered include various things that Jeff likes, such as movies, television, and sports.

What you’ll mainly find on this site are reviews for films and TV shows, though sports posts (mainly focused on either the New York Jets, New York Mets, or Charlotte Hornets – Jeff’s favorite teams) might pop up from time to time. Recently, Jeff started getting more into video games, particularly for the Nintendo Switch, so there are also a few video game reviews.

Who is Jeff?

Jeff is more of an idea than he is an actual human being made of flesh and bones. Who is anyone really, after all? What is anything? Are we even real or are we living in a simulation? Are you actually Jeff and this is all being written by you only you’ve forgotten that you’ve written all of this already...?

I jest. In actuality, Jeff is a human person who was born on a Tuesday sometime after the Mets won their last World Series but before the fall of the Berlin Wall. He is most certainly not actually you, the reader of this FAQ page.

Why should I trust Jeff’s opinion on any of these topics?

Why should you trust anyone on anything? This site mainly houses Jeff’s opinions on various movies and shows, but you are most certainly free to have your own opinion on everything in any of the reviews or articles on this website.

It’s often helpful to gain an insight into what types of things a reviewer or critic appreciates by reading lots of his or her work in order to determine what sorts of opinions you share (or don’t share) with them. Maybe you disagree with Jeff on all things related to horror TV shows, for example. Well, then you know if Jeff likes a certain show in this genre you’ll want to steer clear.

Jeff is always honest with his opinions on all topics (for better or worse), and tries to explain why he feels the way he does in his post. Whether you agree or disagree is up to you.
