It’s that time of year again — that time for the year to be over! I can only hope that 2024 will be filled with as many great movies, TV shows, and video games as this past one was, because when it came to all three categories 2023 really delivered.

A little over three months ago, I finished watching the first season of The Last Kingdom, a historical fiction epic, and gave the show a mostly positive review. Well, I’ve finally finished watching the entire series, which consisted of five total seasons (46 episodes) and a Netflix-released two-hour movie.

I’m not quite so sure we’re still in the new “Golden Age of Television,” but with the “Streaming Wars” definitely raging on (with seemingly no end in sight), there’s no shortage of shows to watch. Here are three shows from 2023 that deserve your immediate attention!
